Terry Willenbrink has worked for the Public Works Department for the City of Montgomery since June 1986, most recently as the city arborist/public works supervisor. In April, he was selected as Montgomery’s assistant public works director. He will still serve as the city arborist.
Willenbrink has worked in various capacities in the department as equipment operator, foreman of paver walk installation crew, Parks & Beautification supervisor, city arborist to public works supervisor. Before joining the City of Montgomery, Willenbrink was a heavy equipment operator in the U.S. Navy Seabees from 1977 to 1982.
Willenbrink attended Southern Ohio College and the University of Cincinnati. He holds a certificate in horticulture, is a certified arborist with the International Society of Arboriculture, and is licensed as a commercial applicator with the Ohio Department of Agriculture. He is a graduate of the Leading, Educating, and Development Program from the University of Virginia, Weldon Cooper Center for Public Service.
Willenbrink is married and he and his wife have three adult children. He and his wife live in Anderson Township.
