Please plan to attend the next Neighborhood Leaders Forum. The topic of this forum will focus on the 6-mill property tax levy before the voters on the May 8 primary election. At the request of the Fire Department and with the support of the Administration, City Council decided to place before the voters a 6-mill property tax levy to provide fire and emergency medical services.
This forum is open to all and will be held on Thursday, April 12, at Terwilliger Lodge, 10530 Deerfield Road, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.
You may be asking yourself these questions.
- What kind of levy is the City of Montgomery requesting?
- What will this mean to me?
- How have service demands increased since 1999?
- Why is there an emphasis on the need for a full-time staffed department?
All Montgomery residents are invited to attend to learn more about fire and emergency media services and the 6-mill property tax levy.
Limited space is available, so reservations are accepted on a first-come basis. Registration closed on April 6, but, due to popular demand, has been reopened. Here is the link to register https://www.montgomeryohio.org/neighborhood-leaders/ , but those who register after April 9 will not have a pre-made nametag.
