Fire

The Montgomery Fire department staff is made up of 20 full-time firefighter/paramedics, 4 part-time firefighter/paramedic/EMTs, and one full-time customer service representative plus Chief and Assistant Chief.

The department staffs the fire station with dedicated and professional personnel 24 hours per day, seven days a week at the Safety Center on the corner of Montgomery and Hopewell Roads.

The station houses two advanced life support (ALS) ambulances, one rescue pumper, one fire engine, one quint fire truck, one district vehicle and one support/hydrant maintenance vehicle. Current emergency response volumes are approximately 1,800 fire and emergency medical calls per year.
