Each year, for the National Fire Prevention Week, the Montgomery Fire Department visits Montgomery Elementary school to talk to the students about fire safety. In addition to the normal Fire Prevention Week programs offered to each grade level, the fire department also offers a fire safety poster contest for the kindergarten, first, and second grade classes. A winner from each class and a grand prize winner from each grade are selected. The grand prize winners this year were Audrey Gould, kindergarten; Samrita Prabhu, first grade; and Sparsh Ghodake, second grade. Congratulations to these winners. They have been invited to have lunch with the firefighters at the Montgomery Safety Center in appreciation of their winning entries.

Lt. Mark Stagge and the Montgomery Fire Department congratulates all the winners of the annual Fire Prevention Week poster contest.
