The City of Montgomery will be hosting an open house to allow residents to review the most recent plan for the modified two-lane roundabout planned for the intersection of Montgomery Road and Ronald Reagan Cross County Highway as part of the Gateway Redevelopment Area (GRA).
The open house will be held on Wednesday, May 16, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Terwilliger Lodge, 10530 Deerfield Road. The GRA is comprised of approximately 21.5 acres on the east side of Montgomery Road at Ronald Reagan Cross County Highway, including the old Chevrolet and Ford dealerships and land previously owned by Hamilton County.
The City acquired the car dealership properties in 2014 and has been working with a private development team, Gateway Partners, to create a new mixed-use neighborhood that complements the Heritage District and expands the City’s tax base.
Attendees will have a chance to learn about the modified two-lane roundabout, review the latest concept plans, discuss with City representatives the best way to ensure a successful development, and provide impressions of the work done to date.
If you are not able to attend the open house, you may contact Tracy Roblero, community development director, to make an appointment to view the draft concept plan between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. at City Hall. If you have any questions, contact Tracy Roblero at firstname.lastname@example.org or 513-792-8312.
