This small shelter has 6 picnic tables and is ideal for smaller gatherings and is located off of the Cooper Road parking lot. Swaim Park also features a playground, walking trail, baseball field, tennis courts, basketball court, volleyball and a sandbox that are first come, first served and are not reservable. There is a fishing pond at the center of the park. The park also features all season restrooms! This shelter is handicapped accessible.
Park Shelter reservation season:
- Residents and Montgomery businesses: Mar. 1 – Oct. 31
- Non-residents: Apr. 1 – Oct. 31
Note: If you are reserving a lodge between Nov. 1 and Feb. 28 for a future date and would like to reserve a park shelter for the same date, please call City Hall at (513) 891-2424.
There is no charge to reserve and use Montgomery Park Shelters.
You may also stop by City Hall to make these reservations, 10101 Montgomery Road (corner of Montgomery Road and Schoolhouse Lane).
Shelter guests must abide by all park rules. If you plan to serve alcohol in the shelter, you are required to obtain an alcohol permit. This permit is free of charge and must be approved by City staff.
