July 4 Parade and Festival

Montgomery’s July 4th celebration will begin with the Independence Day Parade. The procession begins at 10:00 a.m. when participants depart from various assembly locations along Cooper Road, proceed east to Montgomery Road and travel north to Montgomery Park where the parade will disperse.

This year’s parade will be even bigger and better with a plethora of floats, vintage cars, military units, and official Town Crier, the Nolan Carson Memorial Color Guard, elected officials, the Syrian Clowns and the Lone Star Jazz Band. Also making their annual appearance will be the Sycamore High School Marching Band and the Santa Goody Bag Band.

Following the parade, the celebration will continue at the Festival in Montgomery Park from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. In addition to a variety of booths and family activities, music will be performed by the Lone Star Jazz Band and the popular rock-style music of Waiting on Ben will also be featured.
