Bethesda North program ready to offer help
From programs that promote active lifestyles to home-health technology that boost independence, TriHealth Seniors’ Health offers a wealth of services to benefit area seniors. Seniors’ Health is a division of TriHealth, the community partnership of Bethesda North and Good Samaritan hospitals.
Accessing the right services for seniors can be confusing, but TriHealth makes it as simple as a phone call to its free information and referral resource, TriHealth Navigator for Senior Services. Three licensed social workers with a combined 52 years of experience comprise TriHealth Navigator, a service that directs callers through a network of senior service options. Navigator staff connect callers to those services best suited to their needs, whether within TriHealth or throughout the community.
“Our goal is to help remove the guesswork from finding viable solutions for seniors,” explains Brett Kirkpatrick, director of TriHealth Seniors’ Health. “Our staff has incredible expertise and knowledge in the field of aging.”
TriHealth Navigator is the latest addition to a comprehensive continuum of services geared toward older adults. Many Montgomery residents already are familiar with TriHealth Seniority, a free senior membership program offered through Bethesda North Hospital. Seniority helps members maintain healthier, more active lives through educational classes, special events and awesome group travel opportunities.
For older adults who need a little extra help to live safely at home, TriHealth Lifeline® & Home Connections® provides an array of products and services, including Cincinnati’s only locally answered personal emergency response service. Worn as a watch, pendant or wristband, TriHealth Lifeline requires just a push of a button to call for assistance 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Some seniors require more care to enable them to remain living in their own homes. For these older adults, TriHealth SeniorLink may be an option. SeniorLink is southwest Ohio’s only Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly, a service that addresses the medical, rehabilitative, social and personal care needs of seniors through one program.
