MONTGOMERY PARK = Winter Fun!

Family sledding at Montgomery ParkGet out your sleds, skis, snow boards — even garbage can lids — and head for Montgomery Park at the first signs of snowfall!  The hillside in Montgomery Park is the center of winter action for anyone wanting a bit of adventure, fun and laughter as kids and parents alike delight in the excitement of sledding.

Kids make tracks from the top of the slope down to the bottom where the Blue Ash/Montgomery Orchestra performs every July 3rd. Montgomery Park offers year around activity.  This winter, young and old will be looking for the snow again.  This year folks can plan to stay a bit longer with the added feature of heated restrooms!
In the near future, an improved walkway, with accommodation for utilities, will make the park even more attractive for social events and a nice stroll.  Existing ADA accessible play equipment is a beneficial offering and the new playground equipment is proving to be very popular. Picnics in the shelter and basketball will remain popular until winter sets in.

Take a walk through Montgomery Park and enjoy the fall colors.  In fact, plan to visit all seven Montgomery parks this fall.  Stop in City Hall, located adjacent to Montgomery Park and pick up a map of the City, the brochure on the park system or the newest publication, "Montgomery Light: Your Community Resource Guide" where pages 10 and 11 list all the parks and amenities shown in tabular form.

Each park has a special offering. Come and enjoy.
