Sycamore Schools Hotline - (513) 791-1906

The Sycamore School District has implemented a 24 hour hotline for citizens to report matters of concern to school officials and local law enforcement.

Why?

While the Sycamore School District has always placed a very high priority on providing a safe learning environment for every student and faculty member, school safety has been forced to evolve with the ever-changing criminal environment. This 24 hour hotline is a pipeline between the citizen, concerned parent or fellow student, to the school administration. Anytime someone has matters of concern, they can anonymously report the information by using the hotline.

Where does the information go?

Calls will be answered by a trained telephone operator who will record any information or questions the caller may have and forward the information to the appropriate resource. Every attempt will be made to allow the caller to speak with an actual operator but there may be times when the operator is taking other calls and the caller may go into a voice messaging center. If this occurs the caller will be asked to leave their telephone number so they can be re-contacted as soon as possible by the operator.

When should I call?

Call anytime you have information of a public safety nature involving any of the schools in the Sycamore School District. The sooner the call comes in and information is relayed , the sooner officials can act on the information.

Do I have to leave my name?

No - The caller can remain anonymous, however identification may be beneficial to the school officials in case they need to re-contact the caller. In the event the caller leaves their identity, that information will only be given to school officials or local law enforcement.

This is a cooperative effort between the Sycamore School District and local law enforcement to continue to provide the safest and highest quality educational environment possible.
