Taulman House (c.1830)
Located at 7786 Cooper Road
This property was originally owned by Joseph Taulman who was Montgomery's first postmaster in 1812 and a tax collector in 1815. Although expanded on several occasions, the original structure is reminiscent of the early 19th century. Its survival is especially fortunate because, in conjunction with buildings across the street, it forms the west frame for the Montgomery Historic District.
