Landmark Holiday Ornaments
The new 2008 holiday ornament featuring
the James Ayres House (c 1820) is now available for sale, as are all ten of the other ornaments issued to date. These include: the former Village Hall building, the Blair-Barker House, the Weller House, the Pioneer Building, the Crain-Conklin House, the Yost Tavern, the Universalist Church, the Wilder-Swaim House, the Hopewell-Montgomery Presbyterian Church, the Hopewell church window and the Snider
House.
The entire holiday ornament series is on sale throughout the year at City Hall, at the Kiwanis Art Show in September, and at the Wilder Swaim House anytime it’s open. Each ornament is $7 or two for $12.
Proceeds benefit the Historic Trust Fund, which pays for repairs and maintenance of City-owned landmarks. Those purchasing the full set will also receive a free stained glass window ornament. For more information, call Kaye Gaffney at 791-9025.
